Newly Qualified Speech and Language TherapistWe are seeking an enthusiastic newly qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team. The successful candidate will work with us to help create an environment where our pupils can flourish, learn and develop.About the RoleThis is a part-time position, 5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 08:00-13:00. The contract is permanent, term-time only, 42 weeks, with the possibility of increasing to full-time (52 weeks) if desired.Key responsibilities include working under the supervision of a senior speech and language therapist to complete a preceptorship year, implementing a holistic approach to helping pupils in their daily lives, providing information and training to staff and other agencies, and contributing to the team's efforts to support pupil outcomes.RequirementsBachelor of Science degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc Hons)Ability to assess young people's needs and formulate treatment plansEffective communication skills, including with families, carers, Local Authorities and wider communitiesFlexibility to adapt to changing needsValid UK driving licence and access to own vehicleBenefitsWe offer a range of benefits, including:£2,000 training allowance for role-specific trainingExceptional Life Assurance Pension scheme with options to increase contributions
