This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and highly skilled manager to join the Core Accounting Team (CAT), which forms part of the wider Hywel Dda UHB Finance team. As Deputy Head of CAT, with responsibility for the overall management and performance of the team, the successful candidate will be instrumental to the success and development of this team going forward.
Main duties of the job
1. Responsible for the overall management and performance of the Core Accounting Team (CAT) which incorporates the different functions of Debtors, Feeders, Continuing Health Care accounting transactions, Overseas patients and Non-contracted activity administration. The post holder will be expected to deputise for the Head of Accounting & Statutory Reporting as required.
2. Lead responsibility for the core process improvement agenda within Finance.
3. Lead responsibility for accounting ledger integrity.
