Your Role as SENCO:
* Lead the SEN department and manage a team of teaching assistants and support staff.
* Oversee the development and implementation of IEPs and support strategies for students with SEN.
* Work closely with the leadership team to ensure that SEN provision is embedded across the curriculum.
* Monitor and evaluate the progress of students with SEN, providing regular reports to parents and stakeholders.
* Ensure the school complies with all legal and regulatory requirements related to SEN.
Who We’re Looking For:
* A qualified teacher with QTS and a postgraduate qualification in Special Educational Needs (e.g., NASENCO).
* Significant experience working in an SEN role, with a proven track record of improving outcomes for students with SEN.
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and lead a team.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and staff.
* Enhanced DBS Check (or willingness to obtain one).
