Job summary
We are recruiting vaccinators to support ourvaccination programmes for flu, Covid, shingles, pneumococcal, MMR and RSV(this list is not exhaustive). You will work as part of a dynamic team indelivering a safe and effective service for the administration of vaccinationsto patients aged from 6months.
Main duties of the job
Our clinics will be operating Monday to Saturday, subject to demand for vaccinations. We are looking for Registered healthcare professionals, with recent experience in providing healthcare services.
Vaccine specific training will be provided, as required. You will receive an induction when you join us so you can meet the team.

Job responsibilities
1. Clinical assessments, addressing any concerns the patients might have
2. Administration of vaccines according to the relevant National Protocol, Patient Group Directive (PGD) and guidelines
3. Informed consent
4. Vaccine preparation from multi dose vials, as required
5. Mixing of vaccines, as required
6. Undertake additional tasks as required within your general role as a vaccinator
7. Undertake mandatory training and any other training relevant to the role
8. Follow in house, local and national Infection Control guidelines
Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
9. Registered Nurse or Registered Paramedic, Physiotherapist, Pharmacist
10. Good up to date clinical knowledge, including knowledge of immunisation schedules in accordance with national recommendations.
11. Trained in administering vaccinations and immunisations via intramuscular injection and intranasally.
12. Immunisation training and experience of delivering immunisations.
Desirable
13. Basic Life Support and anaphylaxis training.
14. Full clean driving licence and able to travel locally and around Oxfordshire to administer vaccinations (mileage will be paid at 45p per mile)
