Our client is a specialist facilities provider operating across the UK. They are a leading facilities management provider within corporate office space, with a significant presence in London and the South East. They are hiring a Senior Workplace Manager for a client account in Milton Keynes.
Your new role
As Senior Workplace Manager, you will lead the local FM team to provide a safe and highly effective workplace for the client, through the delivery of exceptional standards and brilliant basics in service delivery. You will effectively manage the client relationship where TFM services are provided, with a focus on the successful management of M&E services and projects. Key duties will include:
1. Ensuring overall delivery of 5-star TFM service to our client base, ensuring that building services, planned and reactive works andplex technical projects are effectivelypleted by the local engineering and FM team and specialist subcontractors.
2. Develop and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency and sustainability.
3. Tracking and managing the lifecycle of physical equipment and building systems
4. Ensurepliance with Health & Safety Regulations, ensuring relevant procedures are in place to achievepliance and that suitable records are kept.
5. Ensuring correct standards of service are established and agreed SLAs and KPIs are achieved. Analyse data and produce quality monthly reporting to the Client.
6. Build and maintain positive relationships with client, customers and all other key stakeholders,municating in a positive and professional manner at all times.
7. Develop team so that employees are accountable for carrying out the required processes and tasks and are providing great customer service.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role you will require experience in a management position within amercial office environment, ideally with an FM provider. You will also require:
8. Demonstrable ability to manage a hard and soft services operation within the Building Services sector.
9. Experience in leading a team of in-house engineers, as well as sub-contractors.
10. Ability to interpret technical specifications and quotations and challenge accordingly where appropriate
11. Strong technical/M&E knowledge epassing all integral building maintenance, statutorypliance and health and safety requirements.
12. Ability to articulately translateplex technical data to the client and the team
13. Demonstrable experience of successfully leading and managingplex technical projects
14. Experience of robustly managing budgets, processes and managing teams and customer relationships.
