Job Summary:
Cammax designs and manufactures touch screen kiosks at its purpose built factory in Castleford. We have a range of standard kiosks and also produce bespoke designs. We develop the software applications and customise kiosk hardware and peripherals as required. Cammax employs a nationwide team of engineers who carry out site surveys, system installation and comprehensive on-site maintenance.

We are a dynamic and rapidly growing SME in the transport and parking sectors, producing innovative self-service ticket vending machines, associated software, and services. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Marketing Manager to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing plan to drive our business growth and support our revenue objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, particularly within the tech, transport, or SaaS industries, and be able to work across internal teams and external business partners to deliver impactful marketing strategies.
This is a part-time (24 hours per week) role that offers a very high level of flexibility, both in terms of working hours and location. We are looking for the best possible candidate, wherever you may be based in the UK. There is an option for the role to be fully remote or hybrid with a base at our site in Castleford, West Yorkshire. If fully remote, the role will require very occasional travel to Castleford for meetings, however most meetings will be conducted remotely.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Marketing Strategy Development & Execution
o Develop and implement a marketing strategy that aligns with the business growth objectives over the next 2-3 years.
o Collaborate with senior leadership to understand business goals and market dynamics and adapt strategies accordingly.
o Create and manage an annual marketing plan with measurable KPIs and ROI tracking.
2. Brand Development & Positioning
o Define and enhance the company’s brand, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels and materials.
o Oversee the development and execution of brand positioning strategies, both online and offline.
o Maintain strong brand guidelines across all touchpoints.
3. Digital Marketing & Lead Generation
o Drive and manage digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media marketing, and content marketing to increase brand visibility and generate leads.
o Develop targeted campaigns aimed at different buyer personas, leveraging content, email marketing, and paid advertising channels.
o Optimise the website and landing pages for lead generation and conversion.
4. Content Creation & Communication
o Lead the creation of engaging content across all media, including website copy, blogs, case studies, white papers, brochures, and product collateral.
o Work with the product and technical teams to communicate the value of our solutions through customer-centric content.
o Oversee social media presence and ensure regular, relevant engagement with key stakeholders.
5. Market Research & Competitive Analysis
o Conduct regular market research to stay ahead of trends in the transport and parking sectors, including competitor analysis, customer insights, and market needs.
o Provide actionable insights to internal teams to inform product development, pricing, and sales strategies.
6. Sales Support & Lead Nurturing
o Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment between marketing and sales strategies.
o Help develop sales enablement tools and campaigns to support the sales team in lead nurturing and conversion.
7. Event Management & Trade Shows
o Plan and execute industry-specific events, conferences, and trade shows, ensuring the company’s presence and branding are maximised.
o Coordinate logistics, promotional materials, and follow-up strategies for event success.
8. Budget Management & Reporting
o Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring that resources are allocated efficiently to maximise ROI.
o Regularly report on campaign performance, providing analytics, insights, and recommendations to senior management.
Skills & Qualifications:
1. Experience
o Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a marketing role, ideally in B2B marketing within the tech, transport, or SaaS industries.
o Experience in developing and executing integrated marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
o Familiarity with the transport and parking industries is an advantage.
2. Education
o Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
3. Skills
o Strong knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, and content marketing.
o Ability to analyse marketing data and provide actionable insights using tools such as Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
o Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and ability to present to senior management and external stakeholders.
o Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
4. Technical Skills
o Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), and content management systems.
o Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Canva is a plus.
o Knowledge of analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media analytics platforms, etc.).
