About the Role: :
As a junior member of the IT Service Desk team, you’ll provide excellent customer service to colleagues across the Drax Group.
You’ll be responsible for always delivering a high-quality service to the business, ensuring that incidents and service requests are worked quickly and efficiently in line with agreed SLAs, ensuring the customer and relevant systems are updated throughout.
Who we’re looking for:
You’ll be an enthusiastic individual perhaps starting out on your IT career and keen to step onto that first rung of the ladder. You’ll have an interest in computing, will know your way around a PC and have good customer service skills. You’ll have good attention to detail and be comfortable in prioritising and managing your own workload in line with business needs, but confident to ask for help when you need it.
You’ll be required to have the following knowledge:
-Windows operating systems
-Microsoft Office/ Microsoft Exchange/ Office 365/ Microsoft Cloud Services
-Installation, configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of desktop hardware and software
You will also have the opportunity to learn about:
-Active Directory/ Group Policy/ SCCM & Intune
-Mobile Device Management
-Enterprise IT support (ticket management, customer service etc.)
