Transport Planner Join a well-established and passionate abnormal load and heavy haulage company as their newest Transport Planner. You will need the following skills and experience: Proven experience in transport planning using a variety of vehicles and large or abnormal loads. Strong communication skills both verbal and written. Excellent attention to detail, with an organised and adaptable approach. Good IT skills and a willingness to learn. Logical thinker with problem-solving abilities. Full UK driving licence. What your role will involve: Collaborating with the Transport Team and Operations Managers to ensure the safe routing of large and abnormal loads. Assisting with transport planning tasks, including briefing and debriefing drivers, monitoring progress, reporting delays, and managing paperwork. Liaising with internal teams and external personnel to ensure all processes are accurately followed. Building strong customer relationships by providing updates, answering queries, and preparing quotations. Ensuring health and safety procedures are adhered to and promptly reporting any incidents. Salary & Benefits: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum, negotiable based on experience. Monday to Friday schedule. 33 days holiday.
