We are looking for a Commercial Operations Manager to lead and optimise key commercial processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and strategic alignment. In this role, you will be accountable for documenting and maintaining policy and process documents, covering SKU and supplier setup, promotional frameworks, and critical business operations. You will also develop and manage the clearance strategy, overseeing the operational delivery and reporting of overstocked, deleted, and Best Before End (BBE) SKUs while driving commercial success for outlet stores and online clearance. Additionally, you will own the Customer One Plan, ensuring a rolling 18-month roadmap is in place to support seamless business planning and execution.
The Role
Key Responsibilities:
1. Act as the primary point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the Senior Operations Manager, ensuring continuity of operations and maintaining progress on key tasks. Take ownership of key responsibilities and provide guidance to the team, ensuring that all business objectives are met smoothly during their absence.
2. The commercial lead on Overstock, FD and BBE Management and its subsequent reduction on working capital, identifying opportunities or alternative ways to manage our stock health.
3. Accountable for maintaining the customer one plan.
4. Responsible for managing the H&B Co-pilot tool and providing actionable operational data to Trading and Operations functions on the Commercial lifecycle.
5. Accountability for documenting and maintaining policies and procedures within Commercial Operations.
6. Overall Accountability for the operational delivery of our instore and online outlet deal proposition, actively driving the outlet strategy forwards.
Location:
This role is based in Nuneaton, and may be occasionally required to travel to our London Hub or to any other location of H&B. We support flexibility and productivity of our employees by hybrid working arrangements with minimum 2 days presence in the office.

6. Experience with Process Improvement & Data Management: Proven ability to manage and improve processes, transfer data into relevant information, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency.
7. Adaptability & Decision-Making Ability: Capable of working autonomously, managing multiple tasks, and stepping up to cover for senior leadership when needed.
