Ground Control is currently looking for a Compliance Team Leader to join our growing business.
As a diligent and detail-orientated Compliance Team Leader you will be responsible for overseeing various compliance activities including Modern Day Slavery coordination, triaging Field Team requests, managing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), coordinating business communication, and streamlining business processes.
You will lead a team of two Compliance Coordinators, working closely with the Director of Data Strategy to ensure our operational teams continuously fulfil mandatory compliance requirements to deliver a safe, high-quality service.

What you’ll achieve
As a Compliance Team Leader, you will be required to:
1. Lead and mentor a team of two Compliance Coordinators.
2. Become a ‘super user’ of the business’ recently implemented compliance application.
3. Coordinate Modern Day Slavery activities, working across multi-functional teams to ensure compliance with all associated policies and processes.
4. Triage Field Team requests and resolve queries promptly. Identify opportunities to enhance business processes, reduce manual touchpoints and optimise workflow.
5. Manage a set of defined business Key Performance Indicators.
6. Deliver clear and concise stakeholder communication to drive improvement and compliance awareness.
7. Ensure all security betting requirements are delivered to each client’s specification.
8. Ensure Field Team Owners have verified Right to Work documentation for all operatives and themselves.
9. Ensure all business/operational unit’s mandatory compliance requirements are met by each Field Team owner and Operatives.
10. Alignment with the company’s values, demonstrating a commitment to Ground Control’s focus on the environment and customer.
Who we’re looking for -
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience in compliance management or related field.
* Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards.
* Experience in process improvement and optimisation is desirable.
