Marketing Manager - About The Role The Marketing Manager will play a pivotal role in developing and executing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility, attract new clients, and support business growth objectives. This position requires a creative thinker with strong project management skills, and ideally, prior experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will oversee marketing campaigns, manage digital marketing efforts, and collaborate with various internal teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and integrity. Key Responsibilities: Strategy Development: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to promote company services and enhance brand awareness across the UK and Europe. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitive landscape, and client needs, leveraging insights to shape marketing initiatives. Campaign Management: Plan, create, and oversee marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, events) to support business development efforts. Collaborate closely with the business development team to support initiatives. Work with external suppliers and agencies (including design, print, PR, and digital advertising) to execute marketing objectives. Monitor and analyse campaign performance, optimising for better results. Content Creation: Work with internal teams to produce high-quality content, such as case studies, blog posts, thought leadership pieces, and newsletters showcasing project successes and industry expertise. Manage the company’s website and social media presence, ensuring that content is engaging, up-to-date, and aligned with brand messaging. Brand Management: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and communications. Develop and maintain relationships with industry influencers, partners, and media outlets to boost brand credibility and visibility. Event Attendance: Coordinate team attendance at industry events to build brand awareness and foster relationships with potential clients. Oversee branding and promotional materials for these events. Collaboration: Work with internal project management teams to gather insights and success stories to be leveraged in marketing efforts. Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring resources are effectively allocated to meet marketing goals. Analysis: Analyse all marketing activity and available data to evaluate market trends, review the competitive landscape, assess the company's position in the industry, and identify new opportunities. The successful Marketing Manager will have: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, and CIM Diploma (preferred). Several years of experience in a marketing management role, preferably within the construction or project management industry. Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns. Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, social media, and content marketing. Experience in managing budgets, teams, and projects while working with Senior Management Teams (SMT) to achieve business objectives. Excellent presentation and communication skills. Strong analytical skills with experience in evaluating marketing performance.
