As an SEN TA, you will work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, providing them with the support they need to thrive academically and socially in the classroom environment. You will play a vital role in helping children build their confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to children with special educational needs
- Assist the class teacher with planning and delivering tailored learning activities
- Support students in managing their emotions and behaviours in a positive and nurturing way
- Help with classroom organisation and create an inclusive environment
- Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for each child
What We Are Looking For:
- Experience in working with children (SEN experience is an advantage but not essential)
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with students and staff
- A commitment to supporting the individual needs of each child
- A flexible and adaptable approach to work

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
