Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Year 5 SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a lovely school team near Sutton Scotney, Winchester. This full-time role involves providing individualised support to a child with special educational needs, focusing on their learning and development. The child does not exhibit physical behaviours and responds positively to calm, confident, and supportive staff. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Provide 1:1 support to a child with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Year 5. Assist in the child's learning and development, ensuring they have access to the curriculum. Implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and adapt teaching methods to meet the child's needs. Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support the child's progress. Maintain accurate records of the child's development and progress. About you: Patient, nurturing and calm. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
