About the Role: Teach Physical Education across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on gymnastics. Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons that cater to a variety of learning styles and abilities. Develop and deliver a gymnastics program that caters to students of all abilities, from beginners to advanced gymnasts. Coach and mentor students in gymnastics, helping them to develop their skills, technique, and confidence. Organize and participate in gymnastics competitions and displays. Assess student progress, set targets, and provide constructive feedback to support individual learning journeys. Contribute to the department's curriculum development and resource creation, ensuring that our PE curriculum remains relevant and challenging. Foster a love of Physical Education and gymnastics in students, encouraging them to lead active and healthy lifestyles. Work collaboratively with colleagues in the department and across the school to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance your teaching practice and keep abreast of the latest developments in PE and gymnastics education. Ideal Candidate: Holds QTS or equivalent. Possesses excellent subject knowledge in Physical Education with a specialism in gymnastics. Has experience of coaching gymnastics to students of different ages and abilities. Demonstrates a passion for teaching PE and gymnastics and a commitment to student success. Has strong communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Is confident in building rapport with students and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. Has a good understanding of the National Curriculum for PE. Is committed to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
