Geotechnical Engineer (Rail Civils) Location: Manchester (Hybrid Work Model) Contract Duration: 12 Months Rate: Dependent on Experience (Outside IR35) Are you a skilled Geotechnical Engineer with a background in rail infrastructure projects? We have an exciting role available with a leading consultancy on a major infrastructure project. Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will play a vital part in the development and delivery of various rail-related civil engineering schemes, including: - Design and assessment of retaining structures - Pile design - Stabilization of embankments and cuttings - Development of line-side structures You will manage engineering development for the internal design team, ensuring that project scope, operational performance, and strict change control standards are met throughout the project's lifecycle. Requirements: - Rail Industry Experience: Proven track record in rail civil engineering schemes. - Knowledge of CDM Regulations and comprehensive risk assessment skills. - Industry-Recognized Training Qualifications Preferred Qualifications: - Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status in a relevant engineering institution.
