Accounts Payable Manager| Wolverhampton area | Permanent | up to £45,000 Are you an established AP Manager looking to take ownership of the AP function within a fast-paced business? The Company Seymour John are delighted to be exclusively supporting our client to hire an AP Manager into their Finance Team. The Opportunity You will manage the daily operations of the Accounts Payable department whilst working collaboratively and cross functionally to ensure accuracy, integrity and efficiency of information flow between departments and adherence to deadlines. Duties will include: Provide leadership to the team of AP Associates, ensuring all AP duties are completed within SLAs Internal cash flow monitoring and cash management Send weekly cashflow forecasts to Treasury and advise of any larger commitments in advance Liaise with Auditors Review and approve all new supplier requests or master data updates whilst ensuring compliance Process Improvement: Analyse current AP workflows and financial processes to identify efficiencies Develop and implement strategies to assist the CFO streamline operations, reduce costs, and improve productivity Collaborate with wider teams to document and standardise optimised governance and processes Outcome Optimisation: Identify and prioritise opportunities to enhance service delivery Establish AP metrics to measure the success of improvement initiatives Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate workshops and training sessions to empower colleagues with insights and understanding Support cross-functional appropriate financial projects to drive innovation and embed efficiency in the wider finance team Personal Profile We are looking to speak to experienced AP Managers who can demonstrate working knowledge of managing and supporting a progressive Accounts Payable function, where you will be looking to improve process and implement change. We are looking for a Leader who can drive performance and work on their own initiative with strong people management skills.
