Wigan Town Hall Library Street Wigan WN1 1YN Salary: Grade 7, 30,296 - 33,945 per annum. 37 hours per week Your role: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a ICT Technical Support Analyst working as a key member of the ICT Service Delivery and Projects Team, leading the provision of support across a range of services and systems. You will play a full and active part in developing the service, working with colleagues in the Authority to facilitate change and transformation. Although predominantly office based you will liaise and work closely with colleagues across the council and with a range of internal and external partners. You will help the ICT Portfolio Delivery Manager Technical Services to develop and support your Business area and act as a mentor throughout the Application Support Team. About you: You will have the knowledge and skills to define overall structures and system designs that facilitate long term solutions to support an integrated model of data delivery from the perspective of our evolving data strategy in which you will play a key role. Have the ability to develop a suite of Technical solutions that support coordinated and integrated approaches for research and information, performance management, value for money, customer and performance insight, Business Intelligence, data quality, and knowledge management. Also you will be able to Identify best practice, gather clear evidence and identify gaps suggesting recommendations for improvement in service delivery considering factors in and around cost effectiveness, quality assurance and technical longevity.
