If this sounds like you, we’ve created a new position within Arco for a Contracts Manager to help with the service delivery, and commercial/ operational management of one of our strategic national customers. The Contracts Manager will have direct leadership of approximately 4 colleagues with responsibility for a team of 12 across our customers 5 sites within the UK. The role will involve travelling to customer sites, and can be based from anywhere in the UK. Key responsibilities include: Developing and maintaining a close working partnership with both the customer, operational leadership team and Arco colleagues to develop the contract offering and underpin contract success Leading a diverse operational team to achieve customer service, operational excellence and delivering the commercial and business plan deliverables of the contract whilst instilling a continuous improvement culture Being accountable for the operational and commercial management of the contract, including maintaining the key relationship between the client, and other key stakeholders both internally and externally Managing the contractual outputs (financial, operational and safety) of the contract and overseeing contractual changes Acting as the Health & Safety subject matter expert to ensure the customer interests are protected and compliance standards are met Ensuring that the services and service performance metrics are being met in full, as described in the service schedules or Service Level Agreements Identifying early warning signs of emerging issues and seeking resolution Chairing monthly contact and performance meetings between the customer and Arco Direct auditing work to provide assurance that all contract obligations of the contract parties are delivered, and the regulatory requirements are met On top of working for the UK’s leading integrated health and safety experts, you’ll also receive: A highly competitive starting salary plus Annual Bonus 32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, plus the option to purchase up to 5 more days 2 fully paid Community Volunteering days every year An excellent pension and Life Assurance scheme A huge range of high street retailer discounts to help with cost of living via MyArco Perks Free, 24-hour access to our Employee Assistance Programme Access to our Learning Management System, to support your personal and career development Long-term service awards – we’re proud to have employees who have worked for us for 40 years The ideal Contracts Manager will be/have: A strong communicator and influencer who is able to work with diverse teams and drive operational and behavioural change at the required pace Strong knowledge and experience of BI tools and CRM systems Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent qualification Experience in leading strategic change projects with excellent problem-solving skills including continuous improvement and process mapping Up to date knowledge of the marketplace, technology and our competitor database Strong performance focus with a history of achieving commercial results Ability to conduct sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translate the results into actions Strong presentation skills with experience of presenting at all levels Very high levels of customer focus and commitment to customer service excellence About Us With a 140-year legacy, Arco are recognised as the UK's leading safety experts.
