Business Central Consultant – Retail/Wholesale Location: Hybrid – Glasgow (Onsite required for WMS scoping & initial implementation) End Client: Retail/Wholesale Engagement Details: 6 Months contract (with extensions) Work Setup: Hybrid – onsite in Glasgow for WMS scoping & implementation, remote thereafter Key Requirements: Business Central Cloud/Online – strong understanding of setup and functionality Multi-Company Configurations – intercompany processes, consolidations Finance Expertise – VAT, fixed assets, US & EU trade/tax, posting groups Supply Chain & WMS – inventory management, forecasting, locations, bins, batch management Approvals, Reports & Permissions – configuration & best practices Ideal Experience & Approach: Retail/Wholesale Background – experience in similar industries (manufacturing not required) Proactive Project Management – able to drive and deliver project work independently Change Management – understands structured processes & governance Partner Collaboration – operates via a partner, provides training & knowledge sharing WMS Implementation Experience – Insight, Tasklet, or similar solutions Agile Working – can deliver WMS sandbox POC & pilot without being led Business Improvement Mindset – contributes ideas, helping to generate further work Not a Development Role – reporting & development requests will be handled internally This is an opportunity to play a key role in a Business Central & WMS implementation for a retail/wholesale end client, working within an agile and collaborative environment.
