To undertake the management and delivery of working projects and singular works activities, inclusive of planning and resourcing of labour, ensuring that all aspects of health and safety are adhered to. Production of both RAMS and SSoW client dependent. Arrange the procurement and delivery of materials to site inclusive of checking all quotations as required. Management of all levels of site-based staff to ensure that work is undertaken correctly and assist staff with future development of their employment goals.
Principle Accountabilities:
* Work with all staff and clients to ensure that works are completed both on time and within budget.
* Pro-actively generate leads and opportunities for the expansion of the service provision of Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd.
* React to other leads from existing customers or in-house.
* Ability to upsell the HV/LV services to existing customers.
* Produce RAMS and SSoW.
* Conduct and produce alteration of work schedules and/or programmes as required.
* Undertake site visits to ensure ongoing works are advancing in alignment with schedules/programmes, ensuring client satisfaction and mitigating risks to Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd.
* Communicate with clients as required to assist in the delivery of both new and ongoing works.
* Liaise with PPM Manager for labour requirements when needed for Projects and Maintenance work.
* Manage the procurement and delivery of materials to site and office locations required for Project and Maintenance work.
* Manage and procure sub-contractors via Ipsum Power (Private Networks) Ltd supplier database.
* Check and sign off relevant invoices attached to the Wakefield operation.
* Assist the business in the development of new clients and work.
* Conduct project site inspections against internal requirements (minimum one per month).
* Ensure that accidents and near misses are reported, recorded, and investigated, and that remedial action is carried out promptly.
* Report any concerns regarding SHEQ to the Head of SHEQ Power and your Line Manager.
Senior Accountabilities:
* Carry out regular skill reviews with engineers to better understand training requirements.
* Be a vocal point for assigned engineers, addressing issues and assisting where needed.
Desirable Qualifications [& Professional Membership(s)]:
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
* HNC Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Desirable Skills & Personal Qualities:
* Experience in a commercial, multi-divisional organisation.
* Detailed understanding of current HV/LV electrical installation techniques.
* Solid knowledge of statutory requirements, legislation, and technical advances.
* Good knowledge of Health and Safety practices and Risk Assessment.
* Previous experience in the High Voltage industry.
