Roles and Responsibilities Form strong business partnerships with the Business, and Business Excellence to understand the business process / business requirements ; Clearly articulate all system functionality: how each functionality breaks down into system components and how the components integrate to support the respective business process; Stay current with business processes supported by the Enterprise Application Architecture; Elicit, impact assess, analyse and translate business requirements into system requirements; Define acceptance criteria covering regression, functional and non-functional scenarios; Ensure timely completion of project milestones, identify scope creep, anticipate bottlenecks and escalate as appropriate. Manage project expectations by developing a communication process to keep project sponsors and Head of Enterprise Application Architecture up-to-date on project results. Execute and support BAU processes in relation to Starr’s applications covering system configuration changes, monitoring integrations, and training on system functionality; Liaise with Business Users, Developers and QAs to ensure requirements understood from all sides; Partner Head of Enterprise Application Architecture and Senior Solution Architect to conduct assessments on new systems to ensure technology meets Enterprise Architecture requirements; Support the Head of Enterprise Application Architecture in developing and maintaining an asset register of all applications, including documentation of BAU IT processes supporting the applications. Experience Previous experience implementing hx: Renew; Experience in Business Systems Analysis in the London Specialty Insurance Industry. Documenting Use Cases, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria. Process analysis, data modelling, and data analytical skills using SQL and Excel; Extensive knowledge of RESTful APIs; Intermediate knowledge of Python, associated libraries and frameworks; Experience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies; Skills Excellent communication skills: verbal and written; Pro-active, self-organiser who can plan detail of work to be undertaken and act to ensure it happens; Keen eye for detail, ability to scrutinise, think critically, and ask the right questions; Problem analysis – identify root cause of issues and what impact this has on the systems/data; Comfortable with investigating application configuration and how that maps to business processes.
