Administrative Assistant Employment Relations Grade B Salary £36,048 (with scale increments over 4 years to £40,560) The EIS is Scotland’s largest and most influential trade union and professional association for teachers and lecturers, with over 65,000 members working in all education sectors and at all career stages. We are currently seeking a full time Administrative Assistant in our Employment Relations Department. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Assistant General Secretary, Pension and Payroll Specialists and National Officers. They will also be responsible for assisting on pension, maternity and pay queries from members, triage emails, organise pension information sessions and updating the SNCT website. In addition, the candidate should have a high standard of communication skills and excellent attention to detail as well as knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Teams. This is a full-time position based in our headquarters in Moray Place, Edinburgh. However, the Institute has a Flexible Working Patterns policy offering all members of staff a high degree of flexibility over the time and location at which work is carried out, subject to the overall requirements of the EIS and its members.
