India Specialist Travel Consultant Our client is looking for a passionate and knowledgeable Travel Consultant to specialise in crafting unique travel experiences in India. This role is ideal for someone who knows India inside and out and is eager to share that passion with customers. This is a new destination for the Tour Operator so it is a really exciting time to join Travel Consultant - What Will I Be Doing? Client Engagement: Understand clients' travel needs and preferences to create tailor-made itineraries. Sales & Coordination: Meet sales targets while managing all aspects of bookings to ensure a seamless trip. Support Launch: Assist with non-sales tasks like product development and marketing during the launch phase. What Experience Do I Need? It is essential that you have experience of travellinig to India and have a real passion for the area - this is a new department so your knowledge and experience is going to be key to the team India Expertise: In-depth knowledge of India, gained through living, working, or extensive travel in the country. Sales & Service: Proven experience in sales and/or customer service, with a talent for closing bookings and maintaining client relationships. Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately under pressure, with excellent communication skills. What Else Do I Need to Know? This is an office-based role for the first 6 months in Bristol and then a hybrid model after that. The salary is dependent on experience but ranges from £24000 - £26000 plus commission.
