The Role
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a HAF Support Officer. The HAF programme is an integral part of Talk Community, Herefordshire Council’s initiative to empower and support local communities. This role will involve supporting the development and delivery of holiday provision for children and young people meals during the Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays. About You
In this role, you will support the coordination and administrative functions of the HAF Programme, working closely with schools, voluntary sector groups, and community organisations to expand capacity and enhance programme offerings. You will support key processes such as administration, quality assurance, training and ensuring timely payments to holiday providers. Your work will play a vital part in delivering a high-quality holiday provision for children and young people across Herefordshire.
You will bring experience in an administrative or coordination role, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while meeting deadlines. An excellent communicator, capable of building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders and proactive approach to problem-solving. Above all, you will be committed to delivering outstanding outcomes for children and families, making a real difference in your community.
