Position: Graduate Electrical Design Engineer
Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 dependent on experience
Location: Aldershot, Farnborough, Guildford, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Weybridge, Woking
Join a leading technology manufacturer specialising in robotic and automation equipment for the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and academic sectors. We are looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to contribute to the design and development of cutting-edge automation systems.
Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the design and development of electrical systems for robotic and automation equipment, tailored for pharmaceutical and biotechnology applications.
2. Create electrical schematics and wiring diagrams using CAD software.
3. Support the development of control panels, electrical layouts, and system integration.
4. Collaborate with the engineering team to deliver projects from concept through to commissioning.
5. Perform testing and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards.
6. Support continuous improvement efforts and help implement innovative solutions.
7. Adhere to industry standards and safety regulations throughout the design and development process.
Minimum Requirements:
1. A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN) and electrical design principles.
3. Basic knowledge of automation, robotics, and control systems is a plus.
4. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Enthusiasm to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
