Are you looking for your next challenge? The Head Teacher and Governing Body of Maindee Primary School are looking for a teacher who is able to inspire pupils to love learning. We are a highly inclusive community-focused school with a proven track record of developing excellent relationships with all stakeholders in school and also with external partners and the wider community. We are looking for a teacher who strives for excellence and will be able to contribute to the aims of the school.
This post is offered on a fixed term basis from July 2025 initially until Easter 2026. This post is for Year 5/Year 6.
We are seeking an excellent practitioner who has:
1. a high level of expertise in teaching and learning
2. total dedication to the inclusion of all pupils
3. passion and ability to inspire children and adults to have a love of learning
4. high expectations of learning and behaviour
5. an understanding of teaching children who are multilingual
6. expertise in digital learning
7. enthusiasm and a commitment to professional development of self and others
8. the ability to develop positive relationships with all pupils, staff, parents, and governors
9. a commitment to social justice and empowering others
The appointment process will involve a lesson observation, following which successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview with the Head Teacher and members of the SLT.
