I am working with a great client in the Lakes assisting them with their search for an experienced General Manager for their fantastic town centre site. This is a hands-on role where you will be actively involved in all aspects of the business.
I’m looking to speak with experienced General Managers with a background working in fast paced venues with accommodation with a great mix of tourists and locals.
Ideal General Manager Profile:
• Experience working in high volume venues with accommodation.
• Excellent financial acumen – excellent P&L knowledge, able to manage and control all expenditures.
• A real people person, able to deliver excellent customer service to locals and visitors in a busy environment.
• Practical and hands-on approach to management and service with a sharp focus on strategy and profitability.
Key General Manager Responsibilities:
• Managing and controlling expenditure
• Analysing sales figures and devising marketing and revenue management strategies
• Recruiting, training and monitoring staff
• Planning work schedules for individuals and teams
• Ensuring security is effective
• Ensuring compliance with licensing laws, health and safety, food safety and other statutory regulations.
