The role:
We are seeking a skilled engineering professional with a keen eye for detail and experience in managing product data. Leveraging your previous product configuration experience, you will join a dedicated and motivated team to support several key business products directly. This role also offers the opportunity to enhance your configuration skills and work towards professional accreditation.
What we want from you:
1. Experience in Configuration Control or Technical Data Management within the Defence or Aerospace industry, or a similar field.
2. Proven ability to interpret technical data and Bills of Materials for large and complex product assemblies.
3. Knowledgeable in Configuration Management principles specific to aerospace or defence, including the preparation and management of Configuration Management documentation for project governance and control.
4. Skilled in managing and implementing engineering design changes across a multi-stakeholder environment, with experience in preparing and presenting changes during change control meetings.
5. Capable of supporting supplier audits to ensure compliance with Configuration Management processes throughout the supply chain.
6. Detail-oriented, with a strong ability to control engineering data, drawings, and CAD models with integrity.
