Our Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) organisation partners with a range of global customers, working closely with major airlines such as British Airways, easyJet, Wizz Air, Iberia, Vueling, Air Canada, Etihad, and Qatar.
What will I be doing?
As Traceability Controller, your role will involve the compilation and creation of delivery reports for test and re-certification / NLG investigation work scopes. You will have the ability to review all BTB (back to birth) queries as they arise, from landing gear / hydraulic purchases, in addition to landing gear and hydraulic test and re-certification programmes. You will support the programme manager for any unscheduled BTB requests.
Key Responsibilities & Duties include:
1. Request BTB from customer prior to landing gear input & create MSN folder
2. Receiving & analysing BTB data. Liaising with customer to resolve missing documentation & rectification of documentation with errors
3. Landing gear and hydraulics delivery reports compilation and creation
4. Compilation of final customer commercial pack
5. Review & resolve folio 12 anomalies
6. Stage 3 pre-lim - compilation of data & resolving anomalies
7. To act as the internal focal point for key account management and customer support in supporting external technical queries for BTB
8. Creation of MTS sheets & updating MADS portal
9. Review MPS data & update BTB status
10. Scanning commercial packs into SFD
Job Requirements
Minimum requirements:
• Engineering Apprenticeship with proven experience in an aviation environment advantageous but other regulated industries will be considered
• Previous experience in landing gear records and company signatory desirable
• Ability to interpret Component Maintenance Manuals, Technical Drawings & instructions
• Solution-based thinking to overcome obstacles
• Excellent problem solver with root causes analysis skills
• Proactive approach to solutions
• Self-managing
• Be able to communicate at all levels
Good IT skills
