Together we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Import and Export Admin Assistant to join the team. The Import and Export Admin Assistant will be responsible for managing the flow of goods and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and sales processes, contributing to the efficiency of our import and export operations. Experience working with international trade regulations, TSS forms, EUR1 forms, and freight forwarders is essential.

Duties:
* Coordinate and manage all aspects of import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
* Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate smooth transportation of goods.
* Maintain accurate records of shipments, including data entry into transportation management systems.
* Assist in lead generation for sales opportunities related to logistics services.
* Collaborate with the sales management team to support customer inquiries and provide timely updates on shipment status.
* Utilise EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) systems for efficient processing of orders and shipping documents.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with 3PL (third-party logistics) providers to optimise storage and distribution.
* Conduct regular audits of import/export processes to identify areas for improvement.
Skills:
* Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
* Experience working with the following:
o TSS (Trader Support Services)
o EUR1 Forms
o Freight Forwarders
* Proficiency in transportation management systems and relevant software applications.
* Excellent data entry skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Experience in sales management or lead generation is advantageous.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with various stakeholders.
