Do you have a passion for supporting young people from vulnerable backgrounds? Are you seeking a rewarding and challenging role that allows you to make a real difference in the lives of others? If so, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
Long-Term Teachers supports a dynamic and innovative Primary School in the South Gloucestershire area. This school is seeking a committed Behavioural Teaching Assistant to join their team. The school caters for students aged 5 to 16, across 2 sites, and you will have the opportunity to work across both.
Regardless of the children’s circumstances, the school adopts a therapeutic approach, focusing on building meaningful relationships to create a safe, nurturing environment for students to thrive. This approach has led to excellent attendance and successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will be positive, empathetic, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a genuine desire to support young people. Experience or knowledge of SEMH is highly desirable.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

* Provide support to a small group of students or work on a 1:1 basis, depending on the need
* Assist the Class Teacher in helping students engage in their learning
