Job summary The Urgent and Emergency Care CSU are seeking dynamic and innovate clinicians to join their team of consultants in Acute Internal Medicine. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will deliver ward rounds on our two acute medical units, along with inreach to A&E to aid in decision making at the front door. The post holder will help to develop admission avoidance pathways and will work closely with clinicians from other medical and surgical specialties to provide specialist care in a timely manner to patients arriving on the short stay units. The post holder will also have the opportunity to assist in the continued development of the Trust's medical day case unit, developing a hot-clinic model to ensure our patients receive the right care in the right place at the right time.
