We are currently looking for a TM Roadspace Coordinator to plan and coordinate the traffic management for technology works on the National Highways East Contract. The successful candidate would take ownership of traffic management requirements and meet all safety, environmental and quality obligations and the needs of client and stakeholders both internally and externally.
Duties
1. To work safely and promote a safe environment for all operations and for all personnel under your authority and others who may be affected by the company’s activities such as the general public.
2. Front line responsibility for service delivery of reactive and cyclic maintenance works.
3. To take responsibility for arrangement and planning of traffic management requirements for delivery of the technology works.
4. To coordinate the operational teams/subcontractors in line with productivity and quality targets.
5. Liaise with other depots across the contract as required.
6. To actively foster a positive team spirit.
7. To actively promote and use the bespoke software available to deliver the service requirements.
8. To assist with depot facilities and regular depot checks/audits.
Skills
1. The role will require occasional travel to and from sites.
2. Working in a fast-paced environment.
3. Project coordination & planning.
4. Reviewing/Submitting road space applications.
5. Managing and reviewing RAMS.
6. Able to use basic computer programmes i.e. Word, Excel etc.
Knowledge of the following is desirable:
1. 12 A/B
2. 12 C
3. 12D T7 For Managers and Client Officers or Ideally High-Speed traffic management knowledge.
