The Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex is seeking an exceptional candidate with a good understanding and experience of restorative justice to join our Restorative and Mediation Service. The candidate will have good communication and organisational skills in order to support the work of the Restorative and Mediation Service; facilitating communication between people who have been harmed and have caused harm, to allow them to work towards positive outcomes in a safe environment.
The post holder will be responsible for the delivery and coordination of a range of restorative services delivered by the Essex Restorative and Mediation Service, including managing referrals, managing cases, and supporting our team of volunteer facilitators. The successful candidate will report into the Service Manager and work with criminal justice, local authority, and voluntary sector partners to support the service and assist the operation of restorative justice practice across the county.
The PFCC’s Office seeks a team player who is determined, outcome driven, self-motivated, and able to deliver effectively in a partnership environment.

Essex Police offer incremental increases within this salary band, therefore the salary for this position will rise to a maximum of £34,329.00.
