We require a qualified and experienced Early Years Educator to work within our Baby Room. We are open from 7.30am-6pm, Monday-Friday (excluding Bank Holidays and 2 weeks at Christmas).
Applicants must have a minimum level 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 in Childcare and Education and have experience working in a nursery with excellent knowledge of the EYFS. Applicants must show understanding of the development of babies and how to plan for children 0-2 years.
The position is subject to an enhanced DBS check; you must provide two references and be willing to attend paediatric first aid, food hygiene, and safeguarding training.
Key Responsibilities

11. To assist in clearing away and the storage of equipment.
12. To make oneself aware of all the safety precautions, policies, and procedures.
13. To help with the supervision of lunch time arrangements.
14. In terms of dress, behaviour, and language, to make oneself presentable and wear the required uniform.
15. To help with the cleaning of the premises as required.
16. To assist with planning and delivering activities, which provide a variety of experiences.
17. To supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities.
18. To prepare and provide varied and nutritious snacks (remembering food safety).
19. To monitor and conduct safety checks.
20. To provide first aid when necessary (first aiders only).
21. To take part in staff and planning meetings.
22. To undertake other duties as may become necessary and agreed with the manager/deputy.
23. To undertake any relevant training.
24. Knowledge of In the moment planning would be an advantage.
