- THE ROLE -
To undertake an advanced traineeship as a Trainee Technician with specialism in Digital Engineering leading to a nationally recognised qualification and accreditation. Upon the successful completion of the traineeship, the post title will become ‘Technician (Digital Engineering)’ and the salary scale will increase to Grade 5 (£28,081 - £31,404). The postholder will undertake an advanced traineeship with specialism in relevant areas leading to a nationally recognised qualification and accreditation. The appointee will attend a higher-level education establishment on a day release basis.
- ABOUT YOU -
1. GCSE English and Maths minimum Grade C or equivalent and a minimum of 56 UCAS tariff points comprising a pass grade in at least one STEM subject at GCE A Level or GCE AS level. Candidates must have studied Maths or Physics to at least Level 3.
2. Or BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma (MPP) in an Engineering Programme.
3. Or BTEC Level 3 Diploma (MM) in an Engineering Programme.
4. A demonstrable interest in Engineering through school activities or hobbies/interests.
5. IT literate and familiar with Microsoft office packages or equivalent software.
6. Ability to work efficiently and accurately.
7. Willingness to travel to meet the needs of the post and flexibility with regards to working hours on occasion where necessary.
