Community Support Worker - Muscliffe
Adult Services have the pleasure of supporting a remarkable man in the community living in his own home in Muscliffe. We are looking for a male or female driver (you do not need to have your own vehicle but must have a full license!) to support him in achieving the most independent adult life as he can.
For this vacancy we are looking for someone with a background in complex care as Monte can display behaviour that challenges.
Pay:
For all 'hands on' shift time with this individual, an additional 90p allowance is paid per hour ontop of your hourly rate.
The role:
Monte has 2:1 support seven days a week, he is verbal and communicates well when feeling good. To reassure Monte he will need things repeated to keep his focus, and he has a continuous positive behaviour plan to support with his day to day wellbeing. As part of his repetition, Monte has a timer to keep him regulated on each activity from start to finish such as trampoline, running, swing and stretching. As routine is key Monte has his favourite burger and chips twice a week and likes to watch the app as it prepares and delivers his meal.
Monte loves the outdoors and when feeling up to it his favourite place to visit is Longleat Safari Park and impersonate the lions with a big roar!
This role would really suit a calm and dedicated person who is confident in putting in place boundaries.
We deliver a 24/7 service and have various full and part time hours available to suit your needs. To support Monte's package the hours would ideally be within 8am - 4pm or 4pm - 10pm Monday to Sunday.
