Your New Role
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for:
* Administering and processing comprehensive weekly and monthly payroll using Sage software, ensuring strict compliance with payroll regulations and company policies.
* Accurately calculating and processing PAYE, National Insurance, and pension contributions.
* Maintaining precise and up-to-date employee records, promptly updating any changes such as new hires, departures, employment status, and role changes.
* Managing and reconciling time and attendance records, reporting payroll data daily to Senior Leadership.
* Uploading finalised payroll payments to the bank account on a weekly basis.
* Ensuring full adherence to UK payroll legislation, tax laws, and regulations.
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should possess 2 to 5 years of experience working in a payroll function.
Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of efficiently managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, and maintaining accurate employee records.
You will need strong attention to detail, proficiency in Sage software, and excellent organisational skills.
