Job Description
* Looking after monthly (in-house) payroll
* Administration around expenses, pensions, renewals of benefits
* Checking over payroll details input from HR
* Addressing payroll queries from employees and colleagues
* Assisting in the preparation of reports
* Processing and collating payroll related information
* Maintaining employee payroll record
* Working closely with the HR team for any payroll changes
* Contributing to the continuous improvement of payroll processes
* Supporting the payroll manager with any additional tasks or project work
* Effectively covering certain duties on behalf of payroll manager in their absence
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Payroll candidate should have:
* A strong understanding of payroll processes
* Great communication skills and be able to speak to people on all levels
* Be highly adaptable
* Initiative and work well towards deadlines
* Understand legislation and the new UK budget/commercial knowledge
* High attention to detail
* Excellent organisational skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Good with Excel
