The Opportunity
As a senior member of the team, you’ll design and deliver multi-channel communication strategies that engage workplace members and support client business goals. You’ll work closely with trustees, corporate clients, and senior internal stakeholders to drive campaigns that make a real difference. You'll also help coach and mentor other communications colleagues, raising standards and supporting innovation across our team and for Standard Life.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead strategic communications planning and delivery for major workplace clients (typically £500m+ AUA).
2. Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, trustees, and senior stakeholders.
3. Create compelling member engagement narratives, informed by data, insights, and market knowledge.
4. Oversee campaign execution, ensuring consistency, quality, compliance, and impact.
5. Support business growth by contributing to new propositions, pitches, and content development.
6. Mentor and support junior colleagues, championing continuous improvement and innovation.
What You’ll Bring
7. Proven experience leading large-scale communication campaigns for corporate or workplace savings clients.
8. Strong project management and stakeholder influence skills, with an ability to deliver through complexity.
9. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
10. Strategic thinking combined with creativity and commercial awareness.
11. Experience coaching or developing others is an advantage.
Professional qualifications (., CIM or a pensions-related certification) are desirable but not essential
