We have fantastic opportunities to work with our Major Client in the Birkenhead area, as an experienced Welder. Our client work on some of the most exciting and complex projects in the UK, allowing you to develop your skills and play a part in developing vital infrastructure, for the whole of the UK. As a welder you will be delivering complex works, which have a major influence on the rest of the business, making the role an imperative part of the organisation. You will also be based at our clients State of the Art manufacturing facility, near Birkenhead. About the role: You will have the following accountabilities: - Able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately - Capable of taking ownership of tasks and communicating outcomes - Uncompromising approach to the implementation of safe systems of work - Awareness of Specification and other Contract documents - Understands and implements the requirements of Inspection and Test Plans - Encourages ownership within the team and fosters a culture of Right First Time - Full fabrication of bespoke high integrity Ductwork components manufactured from Stainless and Mild Steel sheet thickness 2 to 3mm thick. - Monitor levels of workmanship Requirements: You must have: - Experience of Welding of QC1 Stainless steel and mild steel Ductwork - Welding operations qualified to BS EN ISO 9606-1:2017 - Understands the basic Company Protocols with regard to accidents and Incident's investigations - Understanding of manufacturing tolerances Rate of pay will be £19.11, in line with the NAECI Agreement. Hours of work will be 38 hours per week, spread over 4 days, between Monday and Friday.
