You will be responsible for the care and safe transportation of non-emergency PTS patients to and from appointments at hospitals, treatment centres, day units or other places of care.
• Undertake a full range of PTS duties including stretcher work and wheelchair clamping, manual handling and moving of patients
• Strong communication skills, for example liaising with patients, their families, hospital staff and representatives of other organisation's
• Ability to get along with people from all backgrounds and be friendly and caring
• Hold a UK Driving licence for over 3 years
• 21 years or over due to insurance purposes
• 12-hour shifts with a crew member
Qualifications
• Strong desire to help others and be a part of their journey
• Ability to build rapport with patients and other staff members
• Strong communication skills
• Phlebotomy experience is a plus!
• Must be able to work flexible hours (weekends and holidays)
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
