Job title: Project Planner
Salary: Up to £49,000 depending on skills and experience
What you’ll be doing:
* Allocating task budgets and alignment of work scope budgets with Control Account Manager (CAM)
* Taking accountability for maintaining quality standards and compliance to governance measures and the schedule in line with Baseline Change Request process
* Providing key support and guidance to the management team through regular engagement and a visible presence “on the floor” as the project moves through all phases – Engineering, Supply Chain, Build, Commissioning, and Acceptance
* Playing an active part in supporting weekly and monthly project / schedule reviews
* Being informed and able to validate, advise, and challenge progress and completion forecasts, to identify schedule risk and opportunities
* Create, maintain and control the project and delivery schedules, including the monitoring and reporting of project status.
* Translating the ship design into Level 1/Level 2/ Level 3 schedules with logic, resourcing, and budget
Your skills and experiences:
* Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of Planning/Scheduling policies, processes, procedures and systems
* Experience within complex engineering or production environment
* A professional Project Management Qualification such as the APM Project Management Qualification or another appropriate professional body, alternatively be willing to work towards accreditation
* Experience with Earned Value Management and a skilled user of modern planning/scheduling systems (e.g. Primavera P6,MSP)
* Experience across a full project
