Job Title: Personal Assistant / Support Worker

Rate of Pay: £12 per hour
Hours: 8 hours per week (with potential to increase)

About Me: I am a young woman looking for a Personal Assistant / Support Worker to help me with various tasks and support me in living an independent and fulfilling life. I live with my family and my cat, Pixie. I work part-time in administration, so I'm seeking someone who can support me around my current schedule. I enjoy spending time in nature, creating art, crafting, and exploring IT. I will need support with finding accommodation, budgeting, and preparing gluten-free meals to meet my health needs and promote independence.
What I Need Help With:
* Daily living: Tasks like cleaning, shopping, cooking, laundry, and medication prompts.
* Independence: Helping me with budgeting, looking for housing, and managing everyday life, accessing medical appointments.
* Social & Community Access: Accompanying me on outings, nature trips, and getting involved in local activities.
* Personal Support: Fostering my independence, and enabling me to live life to the fullest.
Who I'm Looking For: I need a reliable, patient, and compassionate person who can assist me in all aspects of my daily life. If you're someone who has experience in care or support work, knows how to approach tasks with understanding, and enjoys being out and about, you might be a great fit for this role!
Key Requirements:
* Must be a driver with your own transport.
* Previous experience in care or support work is essential.
* Awareness and knowledge of Autism.
* Medical knowledge is preferred, but not essential.
* Must have received full Covid-19 vaccinations.
* A kind and respectful attitude is a must.
* DBS check required.
