Chemistry Technician (Suitable for Life Science Graduates) Location - Oxfordshire Salary - £25,000 - £25,500 Contract - Permanent Hours - Monday - Friday 40 hours a week Our client is a leading pharmaceutical CRO based in Oxfordshire who are offering an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join their expanding pharmaceutical operative team. This position is best suited to those who have an interest in life sciences; candidates with existing warehouse/lab experience; or those who have recently graduated with a life science degree (Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biology etc). The Role Full training is provided for this position, so don’t worry if you do not have experience in the responsibilities As a Chemistry Technician, you will be responsible for: Supporting the product of chemicals on a pilot plant producing batches of up to 150kg. Weighing out raw materials for production. Stock checking and inventory management, consumable ordering. Routine and preventative maintenance of pilot plant equipment (reactors, vacuum pumps, filtration systems, dryers, scrubbers, heaters etc). Filling out of forms relating to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) including Batch documentation records, COSHH forms etc. This will be done whilst adhering to GMP, following company procedures to maintain the high safety standards.
