This role is perfect someone who has is passionate about software development, eager to learn, and excited to work with the latest technologies in a dynamic and supportive environment with mentorship. Here's some of what you'll be doing: Developing .NET-based integrations : You will work on building and maintaining integrations with external systems, APIs, and devices, with guidance from senior team members. Learning Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : You’ll be trained to use Terraform for automating cloud resource provisioning in Microsoft Azure. Supporting CI/CD pipelines : You’ll assist in building and managing deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions as part of your development. Collaborating on API-first development : You will work in a team environment where the focus is on building scalable, reliable, and secure APIs. Following best practices : With time to research and mentorship from experienced team members, you’ll learn to incorporate automated testing, code quality tools, and security practices into your development process. Building serverless applications : Gain hands-on experience working with Azure Functions and other serverless technologies under the mentorship of senior developers. Participating in Agile practices : You’ll be a part of an Agile team, contributing to planning, daily standups, and continuous feedback cycles. This role is based up to 3 days at our Hemel Support Office. The Who To be a successful Junior Front-End Engineer, you'll have: 6 months to 2 years of experience in backend development A basic understanding of .NET and C# (some exposure to software development in a professional or academic setting) Familiarity with API development or an interest in learning about Web APIs and Swagger/Open API Exposure to version control systems such as Git A passion for learning and improving your development skills An interest in cloud computing (preferably Microsoft Azure ) and the desire to grow in this area Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies or a willingness to learn A keen interest in automation, DevOps, and improving development workflows An appreciation for clean, maintainable code and the desire to follow best practices Hollywood Bowl Group has a passion for bringing families and friends together for affordable fun and healthy competition.
