As a Service Technician, you will travel regularly to customer plants to service, troubleshoot, and install Provisur equipment. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the assembly, service, and installation of most, if not all, equipment and peripherals in assigned product line(s). You will analyze and troubleshoot machine and food processing related problems. You will test and calibrate completed equipment to ensure parts and mechanisms meet product specifications. You will perform final inspection on installed/assembled test equipment.
What You’ll Do:
1. Service and install machines in customer’s plants. Analyze and troubleshoot machine and product issues.
2. Instruct customer’s personnel in machine operation and maintenance procedures.
3. Evaluate parts failures and submit probable causes to Service Management. Responsible for parts and equipment used on service calls.
4. Examine customer’s parts and machinery and recommend requirements for spare parts inventory, including retrofit packages, preventive maintenance, and machinery rebuilding programs.
5. Conduct demo/sales of Provisur equipment in customer’s plants.

What You'll Need:
1. Middle level vocational education (mechanical & electrical).
2. Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Understand electronics and microprocessor controls. Understand hydraulic, electrical, and motor control schematics.
3. Experience with Slicers will come as an advantage.
4. Three years experience servicing, repairing, troubleshooting complex machinery with microprocessor controls. Use electronic and motor control test equipment.
5. Familiar with IT skills, such as upload and download files.
6. Basic knowledge of food processing, batching system equipment, and food industry terminology.
7. Good interpersonal skills for customer contact.
8. Able to work independently, but can also act as a team player.
9. Fluency in English; other languages are an advantage.
10. Works comfortably with personal computers and software such as MS Office.
