JOB TITLE: Train Station Cleaning Supervisor
LOCATION: London (Oxford Street to Ruislip)
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURLY PAY RATE: £14.26 per hour
SHIFT PATTERN: 23:00-07:00, Wednesday off
This position is 42 hours per week
ROLE OVERVIEW AND PURPOSE
* Supporting and leading a team of multi-skilled Operatives across Stations.
* Communicating with the Cleaning team at Station, Periodic and Fault Cleaning Team.
* Ensuring that Health and Safety Regulations are followed.
* To ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to.
* To report to the Senior Contract Manager / Senior Operations Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Apply and conduct oneself at all times in accordance with the site Assignment and Emergency Instructions.
* Provide support to the Periodic and Fault team and training and development to Operatives.
* Ensure compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, Sentinel Card Access, & Risk Assessments and process Methodologies.
* Provide support to the Senior Contract Manager and Senior Operations Manager ensuring all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner.
* Responsible for the safety of all persons working along the various Stations assigned.
* To be the next point of contact for all emergencies in the absence of the Senior Contract Manager / Senior Operations Manager.
* Complete all required documentation and shift report to send out at the end of each shift.
* Complete relevant documentation for contractors who work onsite.
* Arrange cover for staff that are absent for shift.
* Ensure that 50% of stations assigned are visited on a nightly basis.
* Ensure Quality and Health and Safety Audits are completed.
* Ensure the delivery of the contract in line with company policies and procedures.
* Support the ABM Site Management in ensuring staff welfare and compliance with HR processes.
* Ensure staff conduct SPC briefings at the start of each day.
* Ensure high standards are always achieved and suggest new initiatives for continuous improvement.
* Undertake toolbox talks training with Multi Skilled Operatives.
* Ensure adequate quality performance measures (KPI’s/SLA’s) are adhered to.
* Ensure strict compliance to the Data Protection Act.
* Complete all company paperwork at station as required.
* Check all staff adhering to uniform standards.
* Conduct return to work interviews and perform absence management processes.
* Make sure that all team members are familiar with and adhere to the Company’s Health and Safety Policy and Procedures.
* Respond to any HR issues for the staff under your control.
* Foster and maintain excellent relationships with all parties on site.
* Focus on the delivery of excellence in customer service.
* Ensure we maintain a “one team” approach with the Station management team.
* Undertake any reasonable duties as requested to meet the needs of the client and ABM Support Services.
* Receive material and ensure it is distributed into their station timely.
* Check for Faults still open within your location.
* Raise reports of what has been done.
* Send daily report using either the Phone or Tablet provided by Company.

* Ensure all health and safety procedures are applied.
* Maintain critical standards for professionalism, service speed & quality assurance.
* Adhere to new policies and procedures to ensure a respectful workplace.
Essential
* A Valid Driving License with over 1 year or more experience.
* Sentinel card would be an advantage.
* Sound communication skills.
* Basic IT Skills with training available.
* Initiative in the absence of supervision.
* Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance policies.
