Job overview
We have an exciting opportunity to join our nursing team on the Paediatric ED at Basildon Hospital.
This role is for a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse to join our team. We are a busy ED and have a dedicated co-located PAU.
Main duties of the job
Duties will include caring for children and families in the acute A&E and paediatric unit, providing support to the junior members of the team, and coordinating beds across the service ensuring smooth flow.
* You will be an experienced practitioner who can respond to conflicting demands.
* Deputise for the band 7 ward managers and act in a calm professional manner at all times.
* Staff coordination across the paediatric service ensuring each area has safe levels.
