What you can add:
* Deliver Clinical Engineering services in support of the Trust’s clinical activity, ensuring that patient and staff safety remains the service’s highest priority.
* Carry out a programme of equipment commissioning, maintenance, repair, calibration, fault investigation, and equipment performance optimisation.
* Ensure equipment is used efficiently over its lifecycle to maximise its utility against the environmental and financial cost of ownership.
* Contribute to medical equipment related fault and incident investigations, including complex and intractable technical and equipment related problems caused by poor equipment design, software errors, and more.
* Calibrate medical equipment and perform quality assurance checks on equipment to ensure it functions as specified and is safe for patients, equipment users, and visitors to the Trust.
What you’ll need:
* Degree or equivalent in Electronic, Electro-mechanical or Biomedical Engineering (or similar scientific or engineering discipline).
* At least 2 years’ experience within a Clinical Engineering post.
* Willingness to travel to different locations within Bucks including Amersham & Wycombe.
* Consideration for candidates with a suitable diploma, must have at least 5 years experience within a Clinical Engineering post.
